April/May 2025: Startup of the new Polystyrene Mechanical Recycling plant in Porto Marghera.

COB Marine is excited to announce the start-up of the new Polystyrene Mechanical Recycling Plant at the Porto Marghera site. 

The Plant, which will be operational in April 2025, offers a state-of-the-art solution for polystyrene handling and recovery, allowing large volumes of the material to be processed. The Plant is designed to turn used polystyrene into secondary raw material, thereby reducing environmental impact and contributing to a more sustainable product life cycle. 
This milestone represents a concrete step in our commitment to a circular economy and sustainable resource management.

The initiative is part of a broader corporate program of sustainable innovation and valorization of end-of-life materials, with the aim of promoting circular and low-impact solutions.
